According to YouGov.com, top New Year's resolutions consistently include exercising more, eating healthier, being happy ("less stress"), and losing weight. The nutritional supplement industry plays a big part in an individual's pursuit of these goals, by providing products such as protein powders and electrolyte drinks; superfoods concoctions; and vitamins, minerals and herbs that increase metabolism, or reduce stress. Growing demand for these products is expected to increase the size of this industry to $326.6 billion in 2030 from $177.5 billion in 2023, according to Grand View Research. However, many of the supplement products sold today are lab-produced synthetics, and many contain potentially harmful excipients (i.e. flow agents, binders & fillers). Although research shows that even synthetic vitamins may help a person in a deficient state, these supplements lack hundreds, or even thousands of phytonutrients, amino and fatty acids, and other coenzymes and cofactors found in whole foods that work synergistically within the complex biochemistry of our body. They may be inexpensive, but at what cost?
In comes Nutraceuticals, Pure & Simple, where we believe a whole-food diet is always best. However, meeting our daily nutrient requirements through food alone can be challenging. We diligently seek out companies that meet our philosophical view of providing the highest-quality, whole food and whole food-derived supplements on the market; supplements that can help to fill in the gap where diet alone may be lacking. Although whole food supplements may be more costly than synthetic, you can also be confident that your body will better recognize, and therefore, better metabolize them. Of the thousands of supplement brands out there, we've done the research for you and selected what we believe to be brands closest to nature, including Ancient Nutrition; Earthtone Foods; Food Research; Green Pasture; Oregon Wild Harvest; and Pure Synergy. However, research is dynamic, so our search continues for other great products to complement our growing portfolio. Stay tuned! Please click Shop to see our full line of supplements. We look forward to being your trusted shop for all your nutritional needs.
